Acrylic on paper. This piece started out as a couple of figures on a beach and then I thought it's a bit dull and ordinary. Too many blue tones.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-72yg-LaYG5s/WvQkk9avrWI/AAAAAAAAPfA/kIymbuRxqwMd51ly0dHj5VsHNLGZNBUKQCKgBGAs/s1600/IMG_7355.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1118" data-original-width="1600" height="223" src="https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-72yg-LaYG5s/WvQkk9avrWI/AAAAAAAAPfA/kIymbuRxqwMd51ly0dHj5VsHNLGZNBUKQCKgBGAs/s320/IMG_7355.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
So I experimented a bit with liquid acrylics and a spatter technique to add some different effects. It's different, and even if the final piece is transformed for better or worse. The idea is to not be afraid to experiment, and one learns what effects to use or not in other pieces.<br />

Acrylic ink on paper. I thought I would try out some acrylic inks. Very like watercolours, and can dilute with water as well. One difference is the intensity of the colours and washes can be layered over dried layers without the risk of lifting.<br />
