I like simple domestic scenes, as well as dramatic landscapes or sunsets. This one, of a man tending the front of his house, by the roadside caught my attention. The light was reflecting off his back and he and his barrow were mostly in shadow. I did not bother about much detail in the background, and leaving out any detail, I hope suggested space and depth.
